When we updated the site in April 2018, rather than update all the HTML code of the whole site, we simply dropped the old site, as was, into a folder called archive where you will find all the old content.

GOODBYE TO LINDA 

We have some sad news for JazzWestMids readers. Linda Semp, who ran, edited and enthusiastically promoted the magazine for many years, died in October of a massive stroke.

Linda was a well known and hugely popular face on the West Midlands music scene. Apart from running JWM she also organised the Sunday afternoon sessions at the Prince of Wales in Cambridge Street, and was often called upon to arrange gigs at other venues.

Linda will be sadly missed by all who new her, and that's a lot of people.
